EVERY THOUGHT. NOT SOME. EVERY THOUGHT.
So, you can take a bad thought and turn it in to a good one to obey Christ. Here's an example:
1.) If one day your mom says to clean your room, when that is the last you want to do, and plus its super messy where your bed looks like a overflowed garbage can and Is that skunk I smell? NOPE. THATS YOUR CLOTHES. Okay and lets say you have a thought that says "Ugghhh. I hate cleaning my room. Why can't mom do it." You can change that thought by saying a little prayer to God and turning your thoughts where they become positive. So instead of thoughts that are filled with complaining, change it to positive, so by saying "I know that when I clean my room it will be soooo much better and I won't have to deal with it if I get it done today".
YES, WE WILL GET BAD THOUGHTS. THATS PART OF OUR SINFUL NATURE. BUT (don't you just love that word? haha) it is our job to prevent our sinful nature taking its toll on us! IT DOES TAKE TIME! So it is good that you have a chance to learn how to do it now.
It so blesses me that our devotion time really does make a difference and you "hear" what is talked about :) You're the best! I'm proud of you!
